Description

The story of the Black Knight has long since become legend in the realm of Dragonia as well as in other realms and worlds away from Earth.
The Black Knight was a deadly warrior - responsible for the slaughter of millions of individuals (dragon or otherwise) and armed with a wide array of combat skills, magical abilities and otherworldly powers.
His past, however, is one that has never truly been looked into. It wasn't until after the final war with Majestic that the history of this creature - and the true extent of his life's tragedy - was revealed.

In 2014, Majestic had been tracking the dragon warrior Jam - one of Dragonia's finest swordsmen and magic wielders - with the hope of somehow acquiring him to do their bidding; namely the elimination of dragonkind as the ancient reptiles provided the most serious threat to them.
After failing to capture him and with offering the chance to join Majestic out of the question, Markus Striker - one of Majestic's Prime Generals - decided upon a new plan and deployed a new machine, the DSX-1000 'Dragonslayer', into battle against Jam.
The battle was hard fought with Dragonslayer proving a powerful foe, although it would be defeated by the alliance of Jam and the xelziak bounty hunter Xor'ra. Nonetheless, the machine had fulfilled its mission as during the battle, it had sliced off one of Jam's wings and teleported it to Majestic's base. Quickly, Majestic's scientists had extracted a large portion of the blood from the severed wing; they now had Jam's DNA at their disposal.
Teleporting the blood to another base to prevent Jam from finding out what had happened as he and his allies invaded the base, Majestic began to grow a clone of Jam, although they genetically modified the clone to suppress his dragon side but also giving him knowledge and powers that would be activated later.

Markus - having survived his encounter with Jam and his allies - directed a plan to condition the child (named Richard for the time being) to hate dragons; a plan that involved sending the child back in time to live a normal life, but controlling his life from behind the scenes.
Traveling into the past and landing in England, Majestic used their technology to convince a peasant couple that Richard was their son, ensuring he would be accepted by them. In the meantime, several Majestic agents remained in the past - masquerading as a highly religious cult known as the 'Fist of God'.
Years later, the Fist of God - in accordance with their orders - attacked and injured a female human/dragon hybrid called Xin, who would flee and later be found and befriended by Richard. Continuing with their orders, the Majestic agents (while disguised) proceeded to capture the prince of the kingdom and throw the young boy in the river.
Downstream, he was later rescued by Richard and Xin. Grateful for his rescue, the prince managed to convince his parents, the King and Queen, to allow the boy to be initiated and trained to become a knight, as well as to grant Xin amnesty for any past actions and protection from dragon slayers. For Majestic, everything was going as planned.

Richard and Xin grew up together, with him becoming powerful and respected among his fellow knights as well as great friends with the Prince while Xin frequently helped out with the various villages. During one battle with a rival kingdom, however, the King was badly injured and later died - although Xin and Richard managed to rescue him from the battlefield to be with his wife and son before his demise.
Not long after the prince became the new King, Xin was targeted again by the Fist of God, who had now received orders to kill her by their Majestic superiors as she had outlived her purpose. To the knights' horror, Xin was struck down and brutally murdered by the slayers. The King, also horrified and greatly saddened by the death of Xin, immediately declared dragon slaying to be punishable by death. However, the tragedy kept coming.
Continuing to follow their orders, the Fist of God infiltrated the castle and murdered both the new king and his mother, the former queen. With no heir, the young knight was chosen to become the next for the throne. He accepted, but vowed to wipe out the Fist of God beforehand.

Riding off alone, he managed to find them, but was outnumbered and captured. Turning their own anger on him for what the king had done, their leader - known only as Sargon - began to chant a spell, which started to unleash Richard's suppressed dragon form and change him into a hybrid. The knights' will and newfound power, however, allowed him to break free and destroy all but Sargon. Before the knight killed him, Sargon warned him he would now only become a human again by killing all of the dragons. It was a blatant lie, but with him now no longer able to return, the knight fled, weeping for what had been done to him. Eventually, him sorrow became anger and his anger became hatred. Sure enough, the choice to direct his hatred at was the dragons who he had previously loved so much. Utilising his new abilities and knowledge, he began his mission; to wipe out every last dragon in the world. Casting aside his name from birth, he became 'The Black Knight'.
For Majestic, the death of the agents was a necessary loss as their mission had been fulfilled. The Black Knight went on a bloody rampage across the realms - using the now active powers and knowledge he had gained as a result of his dragon side been awakened. Among those abilities was a chameleon-type power that allowed him to gain the powers of individuals he fought - allowing him to turn their powers against them.
In a move of desperation to stop the carnage, the United Dragon Council assembled a 'Dragon Brotherhood' of fourteen powerful individuals to try and end this threat once and for all. Among this group of warriors was a much younger Jam, who had no idea he would quite literally be battling himself.

Eventually, only Jam and his friend Polar were left with the rest of the Brotherhood killed. Relying on a final attempt to stop him, Polar and Jam fled to the Arctic Circle, where the two dragons would be in their element and hopefully have a chance. Together, they fought bravely with utter determination, and the future of dragonkind on their shoulders.
Jam, however, was mortally injured and knocked unconscious by several powerful blasts from the Black Knight, leaving Polar to fight alone. Despite been in his element and fighting hard, Polar too was mortally wounded, with the Knight advancing on him to finish the job.
Dying, but not defeated yet, Polar had a few more cards to play. Focusing his energy, he began to concentrate on the ice. Sure enough, the ground shook violently. The Black Knight barely kept his balance as the icy ground cracked and shattered. Sure enough, the ice beneath his feet splintered and fell away, seemingly taking the Knight with it.
The shaking roused Jam, who strained to get to his feet following his injuries that were bleeding heavily. Standing to his feet, he watched as the Black Knight flew straight up out of the crevasse. Unfortunately, his luck seemed to have run out as, with his final breath, Polar fired an Ice beam which struck the Knight's wings, freezing them and causing him to fall.
The Knight grabbed on with desperation to the side of the crevasse, which was still crumbling away. Jam, however, took advantage of the situation and unleashed his own attack against a large glacier nearby. The glacier crumbled, creating a massive avalanche of snow and ice. As it hit, the Black Knight could only scream in anger as he was swept down into the dark abyss. The crevasse walls continued to crumble and even the ice under Polar's lifeless body collapsed, allowing the heroic dragon to be buried with his murderer.

Jam, meanwhile, wept for his fallen allies and headed south, before collapsing to the ground as his injuries took their toll. However, the spirits of his allies appeared in the arctic sky and praised him for his success in defeating the Black Knight before all of them gave him a power boost. It was what Black needed, and he proceeded to reincarnate into a new form.
The Black Knight, meanwhile, would remain trapped under the ice for centuries - under the watch for Majestic, who were ensuring that his icy prison would remain frozen.
In the present day, another genetically modified clone - known as Shadow Voarex - would travel to the present day from the future to save Earth from Majestic. Gathering allies, killing Majestic agents and destroying the bases of the organization, he would later gain the attention and assistance of the various realms and worlds after showing them memories of an apocalyptic alternate future if Majestic succeeded.

The war against Majestic would force the already weakened organization to desperate measures. Declaring that the time was right, Majestic recovered the Black Knight from his prison and successfully convinced him that he could wipe out dragonkind in one stroke and thus regain his humanity.
The Black Knight quickly entered the battlefield - striking down many in a matter of moments and stalling our advance. However, Jam - one of the warriors leading the strike - this time openly stood against his old adversary before activating a 'Pentagram Fusion'.
The fusion combined Jam with Shadow Voarex, Damien Burns, Jake Wolfe, Luctciel and Tyrannagon - uniting them into one entity before challenging the Black Knight to combat.
What followed was one of the most incredible battles of the war, with both warriors trading blows and energy blasts back and forth.
However, the Black Knight would not succeed as Jam successfully brought down his old adversary before de-fusing with his allies. Upon pulling off the helmet of the Black Knight, however, Jam was horrified to discover that the Black Knight was a clone of him. As Jam touched the face of his genetic duplicate, his psychic abilities allowed him to see the history of what Majestic had done and their motivations for doing so.

The psychic vision Jam saw was also witnessed by his clone, who wept at the realization that all the carnage he had reaped in the past was all part of Majestic's plan and that killing all the dragons would never have returned him to human form.
Finding some sympathy, Jam explained to his clone that all they could do now was to ensure that Majestic would never do anything like this again. Agreeing, the Black Knight joined with Jam and his allies and led a renewed assault against Majestic.
The efforts of the alliance would be successful, with Majestic been wiped out completely. The Black Knight, for the meantime, disappeared into the night as the celebrations began.
Dispelling his name as he shook off all his ties to Majestic, the clone changed his name to Arkayas as he began a new journey - seeking to overcome his guilt over causing the deaths of so many and find a purpose for himself in life...
