Dragon meditation...(Not by me)
To align yourself better with the Great Dragon, which is to say with the flow of Divine Energy, use this meditation often.
Place yourself in a comfortable position, and begin as always by clearing and releasing.
Imagine yourself before a flight of stairs.
Imagine that you climb these stairs, one stair at a time, counting each as you go.
With each of the stairs you will go deeper into yourself.
There are ten stairs in all.
At the top of the stairs you come to a hallway.
It is a long hallway, with many doors on either side.
Note the details of this hallway-what color are the walls? Is it clean? Do you like the hallway?
Imagine yourself walking down this hallway until you come to a door that is marked with an "X."
This is your door.
Go in.
Inside the door you will find a beautiful landscape.
Enter it.
Feel the things around you-make the visualization as real as you can.
As you look around the landscape you will see a large Dragon.
Go to it.
Give the Dragon greetings.

Origin of the Welsh Dragon...(Not by me)
The Welsh dragon remains a strong national symbol of Wales but what are the origins of the iconic red dragon?
Some of the earliest references to dragons can be found in ancient Welsh literature between 400 and 700 AD. Following the retreat of the Roman empire, Britain was subject to a period or major upheaval where warring tribes struggled to gain the upper hand.
As with much of literature much can be read into the symbolic aspect of the dragon. Dragon's represent strength and power but also destruction.
Ancient Welsh poets Aneirin and Taliesin used the Welsh word for dragon "draig" to mean warrior or leader. Later in 800 A.D The dragon emerged as a symbol of national independence in the Historia Brittonum ascribed to Nennius. Here the dragon represents national independence in the story of the red dragon battling with the white dragon of the Saxon enemy.

Dragons.

Some say they never were,
And were birthed from imagination.
The same say that fantasy
Is the realm of children and the insane.
To believe in the magical, the mythical,
And the fantastic
Is to be as a child or a madman.
I am neither and I believe in dragons.

The majestic Lords of skie
Born of fire.
In an averie of flames
The eggs lie
Warmed by mothers breath.

Emerging weak and hungry,
Parchment wings
Unfurl for the first time.
Infant sings
For mothers attention.

Noble, proud and powerful
Lords of the skie
Reach the very stars with
A thermal sigh
And one thunderous wingbeat.

Upon the winds they soar
Swooping, diving
Breaking free from earths hold.
